Substituting normal desserts with sugar free desserts is good start to control or even prevent diabetes. Also sugar free desserts can greatly help you, if you are trying to lose excess weight.
Ingredients:
- 250g white flour
- 200ml sparkling mineral water or milk or soy milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 1-2 teaspoons honey or brown sugar
- vanilla
- oil
Preparation
- Place in a bowl the eggs, mix tem with a stick or with the mixer. Add salt, milk, honey or sugar, vanilla powder and flour.
- Add more flour if more should be added until a dense pancake dough is obtained (it looks like as thick cream).
- Choose large bunches of acacia flowers, fresh and beautiful but make sure they have buds. Wash them in bowl careful not to crush the flowers. Place on a sieve or a clean towel to drain the water.
- Put oil in a hot pan.
- Make sure that the flowers are well wrapped in the dough. Quickly place them in the hot oil and fry on medium heat on both sides. Make sure they remain golden.
- Remove the pancakes and place on an absorbent towels.
- Place the pancakes on a plate, add vanilla and powdered sugar on top of them and a little bit of honey or maple syrup. Serve with cup of tea with lemon.
